M106 and friends

Hello,

This Saturday we finally had a good weather, small Moon and roads without snow:hello2:Even more - all these factors in same time So I managed to get to one of the dark sites I usually use and to spend few hours in imaging.

The image is on "trivial" object - M106 and few friends... This time decided to go on the dithering route (took 3 darks just in case if something went wrong). Here is the result 15x10min at ISO 1600 + 11 bias frames, 550D modified and WO ZS 110 triplet.

After the initial levels I boosted the saturation on two steps with 10. Then after curves and contrast boost, applied 2 times the method 1 described here:

Stargazer - A Private Observatory In The Heart Of Europe

and finally switched to LAB mode and boosted two times the "b" curve with one section for both left and right ends.
