Wow what a view can't wait for a better night

Well for the first time managed to get a good cleanish sky so had a look at Jupiter and Venus again.

Once the scope cooled I managed to see Jupiter and actual detail of the planet. Obviously there was some mist in the sky and a lot of ambient light from street lights bouncing off it but the light filter helped a bit with that.

Can't wait for a good clear sky should help sharpen things up.

Yea I'm dying to see it but the sky is just too murky tonight but I think 12am is best time to catch it.

Saturn will definatly take your breath away, along with a highly detailed jupiter and mars.

I'm looking forward to seeing Saturn also hoping to maybe see a few pulsars or DSOs (clear view of galaxy's)

i never get use to seeing Saturn it still blows me away and first light with the 16 inch last night saturn was 1st on my list and it was even better in the 16 then when i first saw it 1 year ago
