Yes, apologies I should have mentioned that the latest beta works fine with 1100d raws.

Does the 2 second timer function not invoke mirror lock-up on the 1100D?

Good choice I'm very impressed with the low noise of the 1100D. You can get manual mirror lockup using live mode. OTOH all the software such as the supplied EOS Utilities and DSS (latest version) provide this function.
