low power ep

Hi,

I'm not sure which EP would be better for DSO hunting with a 200 f6 dob, I am looking at a 24mm 68 degree Hyperion or should look to a lower power type? I have about £100ish to spend.

Been looking into the same thing, the 32mm Skywatcher Panaview seems well thought of for the money but can't find any in stock?

the 26mm panaview might be a better bet than 24mm hyperion...as the 32 is hard to get

You could try one of these, they take a camera with the 43mm adapter ring the 31mm should work well.

I did see the Aspheric and like the look of it, I think that may be out of my price range though. But I am tempted.

+ 1 for the SkyWatcher Aero ed 30mm, excellent ep and in my opinion worth every penny. Never tried the Panaview but have heard they are excellent, if hard to get. My 30mm Aero is by far my most used ep in my 200p.

Thanks for replies, I have ordered the 31mm Aspheric from FLO, one of the reasons is the 1.25 and 2" fittings as I have a smaller scope that is 1.25" only.
