Meade 5000 HD60

Has anybody tried the 5000 HD60? The 6.5mm would be handy for me and I can't afford the premium eps.

they are meant to be the meade equivilent of the celestron X-Cel LX..but without the twist-up eye-guard...I've never tried the meade..so can't comment further on them...sorry

From the second review Damo linked to, they seem to have both fold down & twist up eyecups You should be able to get the perfect personal setup with that choice.
