Saturn plan tonight....

Recommended Posts

At the moment clouds are there but there are large spaces between them, if this continues till 23.00 Im gonna try to get my scope out to get ready for midnight, saturn should then be high enough to be able to see above the houses.

Now my plan is to use the finder scope to point scope to saturn, use 25mm eyepiece to make sure I got the right blink blink in the sky and then turn to the 10mm EP. Would that be ok to at least make out it is saturn? Im surely will try to make some snapshots of it.

ITs nice and clear atm..........one problem though.........when I watch a random star with the scope all I can see it a clittery disc and can see spider legs and secondary mirror reflection (I think), meaning, bad collimation? Dont tell me I just spoiled my whole night of good viewing? :)
