The Sun 25 Feb 2012 white light and NEW KIT!!

For the first time the Sun was "visible" to my 120APO in the observatory - so I took todays images with it. However it wasn't a fair test as out of 190 images only 61 were sufficiently "cloud free" for Registax to stack! By the time the clouds had cleared the Sun was barely above the neighbours rooftops.

The good news is that I have finally realised that I was posting rather dull "Long & Lat" images - now fixed by doing a proper colour adjust in PS!

Nice!! Stupid question but was it a full aperture filter or stopper in the dust cap ?

My Baader Solar filter is mounted to give an aparture of 100mm - only because I'm mean and can cut two of that size from one sheet of film!!
