Sunday's solar pictures and movie

I'm a little late but I have been short of time and making this movie has been a bit of a marathon. I still have plenty more pictures to process but before it gets very out of date I thought I would share my efforts with you all.

First Ca K full disc taken with my CaK PST:

and a link to my little movie '40 minutes in the life of AR11422'

taken with my Solarscope SF-100 / 2x Barlow / DMK41

a total of 38 pictures taken 1 minute apart and I have repeated once to make the animation a bit longer.

Thanks both of you :D

Ixalon - Each frame is created by stacking around 500 images in Avistack 2, so the computer was crunching data for about 4 hours for the 38 pictures, then I had to do all the post processing in Photoshop CS5, then align the 38 in Registax, then crop off all the black borders in Photoshop, then put them together as an avi in ImageJ. I got there in the end!

Alexandra
