bobs knobs equivalents?

Since these are simple bolts, can't help but think there must be stuff at B+Q (Home Depot for US readers) that do the same thing. Or what about PC case knurled screws?

Anyone got any ideas please?

Also, my scope is well OK at the moment. Seems to be silly to disturb an aready good collimation to install the knobs. Best waiting until it *needs* collimation before installation I would have thought? Would that make sense?

I've been wondering the same tbh. I know the secondary screws can be done with m4 screws either 25 or 30mm. Dunno about the primary though.

As much as i appreciate the awesome thinking from bob, paying like £20-25 for less than a handful of screws and having to wait a week for them too, just feels like a raw deal to me.

So what size is needed for the primary adjustment and locking screws?

Also, are the prices each? Because £2 for a single screw is pretty lollerific.

I bought three M5 plastic knobs off eBay for only a couple of pounds. Coupled these with some nylon washers and I've it great primary mirror adjustment which can be done in moments, no spanner needed.

I've just ordered some of bobs knobs, worked out about £13 delivered for my scope. Still quite a lot of money though, at least you know you've got the right ones.
