RDF mount "glue"

(sorry to double post, but I just found this sub-forum)

When I got my scope the shop glued the RDF Mount on, but in my initial setting up I put the finder scope on that mount and not the screwed on one (newbie mistake) and the weight of it pulled it off (fortunately in my hand as I was adjusting it).

Can anyone tell me the best choice of glue to reattach the RDF mount?

A strip of double sided tape?

Sticky fixers - those little sticky foam pads. Worked for me.

Update: the shop I bought the scope from have said they will drill the holes for me. Now to decide if I need both the finder and RDF at the same time
