First Impressions of SW200P - Some Help Needed!

Recommended Posts

with the telrad, youll find things quicker for the most part.

use stellarium ,slide the nebula bar up on the options and you'll see plenty of choice. the messiers in auriga are good starters. and if your up in the early hours at the moment m3 globular cluster is exellent. have you seen orion nebula m42 yet ?

youve probably heard it mentioned before, but a copy of turn left at orion would be right up your street.

Yes - as other Pleiades is amazing to view, as are the double stars (especially Albireo - there is a sunning picture on this site, done if I remember rightly by LukeSkywatcher).

I'd really recommend meeting up with others for a viewing evening. Everyone would be more than willing to help & get you going in the right direction.

You just wait for a couple of months time, until Saturn comes up earlier ......

What time will Saturn then appear in the sky? Will it be visible between 9-10PM?

Not yet.

But by May time it should be.

If you haven't already, download stellarium. You can fast forward this & see when & where she'll be.
