Skytee-2 Adapter for EQ6 (CGEM) tripod

Does anybody make an adapter which allow a Skytee-2 Alt-Az mount to fit onto an EQ6 (CGEM) style tripod? I just want to be able to move my Skytwee-2 mount between sites without having to purchase yet another tripod!

Hi CeeDee, I looked and didn't find anything. I have an EQ6 tripod sat about as i use a pier, so i ended up with the EQ5 option. I suppose someone with metal working skills could make something but not in the time frame I had in mind. Good luck in your search.

Mention of one here. I didn't bother myself, just have a 5 & 6 tripods.

Aha...never thought of trying Geoptik! Their flange seems to be the one all right. However, I will confirm with them and report back here. It's a toss up between a flange and a second hand EQ5 /CG5 tripod on UK Astro Buy n Sell.....

Turns out its cheaper to purchase a complete CG5-CG tripod second hand from UK Astro buy-n-sell!
