Private Messaging

This may sound a stupid question but I am confused.

I want to receive private messages.

In Control Panel under Settings and Options I chose Edit Options

In Messaging and Notifications under Private Messaging I have ticked the box "Enable Private Messages" but the message above it starts "If you do not want........

Have I done the set up correctly by ticking this box ?

As long as that box is ticked you should be ok

And this is what I get when I try to message you.....

Neil McRae has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove Neil McRae from the recipient list and send the message again.

I can however get messages from you - so PM me your email address and I will mail you from my hotmail.
