What T adaptor?

Ok so I've read around the place and I just don't know what I'm supposed to buy.

Can you please just tell me?

I have a Skywatcher 150pl EQ3-2 and a Nikon D90. And I want to marry the two. So I know I need some sort of adaptor but I've seen so many online that I dont know what to actually get, and I don't want to get the wrong one.

FLO and others sell the T2 camera adaptors..look for a " T Thread adaptor for the Nikon"

One word of warning...many people find that the DSLR camera body when fitted to the scope will not always come to focus...

The one listed on ebay. The 150P has a corresponding t thread on the end of the 2" eyepiece holder, the t ring screws into this.

No, the T ring should screw onto the focuser tube...BUT - you need to check the available space for the camera body (55mm from the front of the T-ring to the image plane.)

Goes onthe camera lovely, but I'm not sure how to get it on the scope?

There should be a threaded section on the eyepiece holder on the telescope...the camera adaptor with the camera body just screws onto it.....

Silly question but I'll take the EP out and just pop it on? Or do I need to take more off it? The diameters are the same...

I think on your telescope you just remove the eyepiece and screw the camera body onto the end.

It looks as it yes I remove the EP..but also then remove the 2 little screws on the Ep housing part, the T ring seems to slot on but it doesnt 'click' in place and it doesnt seem to fit securely. Im nervous it'll fall out, and the old man's camera will end up on the patio!

Does your telescope have a 2"/1.25" focuser or the older 1.25" focuser ?

The T2 camera adaptor shouldn't "slot on" but screw onto the visible threaded portion at the end of the focuser....

Where the two screw came out, is the outer surface threaded??

If so, then that should screw into the camera adaptor, then the assembly goes back into the focuser.....

The top part where the 2 screws normally live isnt threaded inside or outside. But on the other end it is threaded inside and out
