That's quite stunning, especially the clips of the aurorae.

Unfortunately it's also depressing that our profligate waste of energy lights up just about everywhere on the planet there are people as it if it were a christmas tree.

As an astronomer I was equally depressed by this [and other] vids demoing light pollution into space [and back to us on the ground!] but which humanity, at large, rejoices:mad:
