I feel I was pushing my luck with this one last night, a bit of high haze and a small scope are not the way to go with this one :icon_salut:

but you live and learn......

ED80's and QHY9's mono and OSC

Lum = 77x 3 mins RGB = 40x 3mins

This is a HUGE crop from the centre of the field

Wahey, now this kind of image really has some interest, you tend to get a screen absolutely chock full of galaxies. I've been trying a few myself, but you need great conditions and everything to be right, including perfect flats.

Seems like you have a great start with this one :icon_salut:

Flats? What are they then? :icon_salut:

I actualy didn't bother taking them for this because I thought it was going to be a scrapper, but have since been down and shot some so might add them to the mix later...or not and just move on to something a tad bigger.

Cleaned the optics after taking them as well...shocking state!
