Can a laptop be connected to a Skywatcher Dobsonian? Help please!

With the right webcam you should be able to do some lunar/solar/planetary imaging I'd have thought. For deep sky imaging though it's really desirable to have a decent equatorial mount.

Even planetary imaging with a dob has some problems because the target will rotate relative to the scope over time, but I'm sure there are people on SGL who have done it.

The non motorised mount could allow you short exposures with a webcam for lunar and planetary imaging, the target will drift out of the field of view fairly quickly ghthou. DSO imaging requires a mount that can track the movement of the stars across the sky in an arc to compensate for field rotation, dobsonian mount can't do this.
