Cool down time for skymax 150.

Recommended Posts

Cool down time is directly proportional to the patience of the person observing. :D

No patience = No cool down.:)

Short patience = Short cool down.:D

Long patience = Long cool down.:D

By the time I have the scope outside snd set up it has cooled a bit.

I work on the basis that I may as well look at anything while it is cooling.

Suppose that means no patience. But I go to look not watch a scope cool down.:):evil6::)

P.S. 30 min to 1 hour seems what most suggest. Just long enough for clouds to form and cover the sky.

As above but whilst it's cooling there is no reason why you can't use it. I often set my APO refractor up start using it for some low / medium power observing then once an hour has passed crank up the magnification and check out the planets.
