Budget Laser Collimators Clearance

We have three 1mW red laser collimators available at only £15 each!

We bought them to assess but chose not to stock them. The same collimating lasers are offered for sale elsewhere for over £30+ (sometimes called 'Next Generation' laser collimators).

Designed for the accurate collimation of Newtonian Reflectors and Dobsonians telescopes. Large display window allows the user to clearly see the face of the device. Seven adjustable brightness levels.

Supplied with a removable adapter for use in both 1.25" & 2" focusers.

Please note: these are budget lasers so might themselves require periodic adjustment.

Thats not why you decided not to stock them is it?

It was branded as next Generation and was £44.00 !!

We didn't sell them, other than the three offered here, so cannot comment on their longevity. We have always taken the view that a laser collimator should work out of the box and hold it's collimation. That is why we stock premium models like the Baader Laser Colli III and of course the Hotech Laser Collimator. But, we are often asked for a cheaper alternative so are always on the lookout. We noticed some members praising this model so we bought some for testing. It does work but we are looking for something more able to hold it's collimation so the search continues

Thanks FLO, I cant change it now but if i am not happy about the replacement or if for any reason the same thing happens again I will order the Baader one. Many thanks

bit of a noob here but how easy is it to collimate a basic newt without a laser?
