Finderscope Shoe

Hi Guys

Does anyone know where i can get an adapter for the shoe of my finderscope? The shoe isn't wide enough to fit the existing holes on the OTA. I was looking at mocking a timber adapter up but i'd rather something proper if its out there.

Sounds like you might need the SCT finder shoe / base:

Dovetail Base for SCT

It's holes are slotted so are compatible with holes a bit further apart.

I've also seen those for sale a lot cheaper on the Astroboot website although I can't see one on there at the moment:

I just slotted the holes enough to pick up the mounting holes on the OTA

John are they universal do you know?
