first astro pic

nothing to be to proud of just a first from me and cant wait to buy an adapter so my camera fits to the ep.

taken piggyback style with my a200 and 300mm lens i believe is around 30mins of 30 sec images.

how do you post the image so people can actually see it?.

Use the 'Go Advanced' button at the bottom of the screen.

yes but those first ones are the best ones that give you a real buzz when you do them, I remember imaging this over a year ago and you get better as you learn more but nothing seems to replace the thrill you get from the first ones. Beware though this gets very addictive, see my blog for a years worth of addictiveness..and hope you find it as much fun as we all have

Thats an exciting first effort but when you get your camera in a scope focuser it will be even better.

A great first pic of Orion's sword, very nicely done! I dare not show you my first astro image!

When you say "attach to ep" I should just mention that you should aim for prime focus photography; don't be tempted by one of those eyepiece projection adapters (I was when I first started out and the results were awful).
