Southern Pleiades, IC 2602, and Melotte 101

Hi guys,

Another of the Namibia shots, taken last June - Powernewt 2.8-8 CF + SBIG 8300M and Astrodon Gen II filter.

Between shooting one nebula and another, I could not help the temptation of aiming the Powernewt at this lovely cluster.

I got a nice prize in the frame – the far fainter, and farther, open cluster, Melotte 101.

Beautiful cluster I can see in March in Brisbane in a very rich area indeed near Eta Carina littered with tight rich clusters.
