A McEwan
A while ago I found a Meade Research Grade Ortho in the 7mm focal length and snapped it up, mainly because I knew of their excellent reputation. Sadly, being summer, I never got a chance to use it before I needed to sell it on.Now I find myself in need of somthing to go between the 9mm and 12.5mm Orthos in my eyepiece case, and realise that a RG 10.5mm Ortho would be ideal, on paper at least.Anyone have any experience with this eyepiece? E621Keith
I have only seen it mentioned on CN.Telescope Reviews: Super Planetary Eyepiece Design And Performance? The 2nd poster ranked the Meade RGO in the same class as Pentax ortho, and better than BGO.Never seen one in person, I believe it was made and sold in the last century, hence not many around today. I reckon it's best to search on CN.
