Binoviewers - optical corrector adapter

Recommended Posts

I recently obtained some Binoviewers and I knew that I would not have enough inward focus on my Refractor without some help of a barlow or Optical corrector Adapter.

Can anyone recommend a suitable product. I was wondering whether a standard barlow would be OK as long as I can unscrew the bottom lenses to fit the Binoviewers.

Advice/Opinions would be appreciated.

Hello Mark.

I would expect any decent Barlow lens used as you mention would work OK. Using the complete Barlow assembly increases the already large separation between the eyepiece and the Barlow lens resulting in higher than desirable magnifications.
