First attempt at stitching afocal shots

These were taken last night with my Canon S95 compact. The full moon is a single shot, the panorama is from 4 single shots stitched with ICE. Both processed with PSE and Astra Image.

I must say ICE is very easy to use and I'm quite pleased with the result.

very nice, have to say your getting very good focus, seems like every A-focal i take is just a touch soft on focus

Very sharp afocal pictures did you take a shot then look at it in a comp before continuing to get the best focus? Very well done though I am gonna have to get on this stitching program eventually.

Thanks for the comments. I wasn't intending to stitch them when I took them. It wasn't until I saw them on the computer that I realised they might fit together - they weren't even taken in sequence.

Incidentally I take all my photos in macro mode & don't actually focus the camera.
