Alternative filters

Am looking to up grade to 2" filters and go for a manual wheel, I was looking on eBay for maybe second hand or a cheaper alternative and came across Omega Optical and was curious as to whether anyone on here had used them for LRGB imaging..?

His feedback speaks highly of him Guy. 100% on over a thousand deals. He seems to sell a wide variety of stuff..

I wonder how knowlegable he is on the filters he's selling.

Is there anyone in the feedback list who have bought filters that you could contact perhaps, to get an Idea on their suitability.

I think the trouble is we're all indoctrinated into the recognised brands. Astrodons, astronomiks and Baader are all we're told...I'd love to find a cracking new kid, I just don't have the greens to experiment!

Bit like Moravian cameras...I've seen some great images from DaveW...but if asked the majority will say get an atik, SX, qhy, sbig...etc.

Not complaining, just saying there are few people really testing and reviewing these fringe but quite possibly dedicated and good value manufacturers. Or I there are, I'm missing them.
