eyepiece spacer

I've been getting used to my new 19mm Panoptic and its a definite keeper - except: it won't achieve focus in my Skywatcher Newt, it needs a couple of mm further out from the tube. I've been using it pulled out from the focuser a little, but obviously this is not ideal. Does anyone know of a retailer of 1.25" spacer rings? 5mm would be ideal.

Astroboot usually have a variety of cheap extension tubes?

You're looking for Parfocal rings which add 4mm or 5mm.

Thanks - I thought I'd ruled out astrboot, but looking again they have a number of parfocalising rings on sale. Presumably one or two of those would do the job?

Just one ring would be OK - they lock onto the eyepiece barrel with a grub screw then stay in position after that. With a bit of care you can make the Panoptic more or less par-focal with your other eyepieces.

you could always use a cheap o ring on the barrel of the eyepiece and it won,t leave any marks
