I've only ever used it to view through, so can't answer the camera questions, but it is a cracking eyepiece, in my opinion.

I have the 32mm Photo Visual eyepiece, and I have to say I love it. Its sharp to around 70% out on my f/4.7 scope, giving about 1.4 degrees field of view, and the contrast is good, particularly in a dark sky.

With this thread being a T thread, silly question but what would it screw into? i.e would it fit straight into the lens thread of a dslr or would you still need some type of adaptor

To attache to a dslr you would need the appropriate t ring for your camera that would then attach to the t thread

Im tempted to get this eyepiece for A-focal work, but can any one suggest a way to connect a point and shoot fuji with a lens diameter of 28mm to the T thread of this unit

I wonder if you got a dud? I'd have thought the optics would be the same as the fixed - and certainly my one is very nice: I've used it a lot on the moon and never had cause to complain about it...

ok, here is a question, if i were to buy a bridge camera with filter thread and an adaptor along with this eyepiece would it work well for lunar imaging, the bridge camera`s tend to have a pretty large lens, that makes me think it would vignette through this ep?

You can move the eyepiece up and down to change the size of the image, so it might be okay.
