Roor rails go on...

Today I finished the wooden supports which will carry the roof rail, though I still need to make some extensions on the right of the pic since the scope roof area is longer than the warm room and will extend 80cm beyond it whhe the roof is fully open. Meanwhile the owner of the big scope is prparing some holiday in the fairly near future so he can bring it down. I hope my rolling roof design works!! We already have three full roll-off sheds so I hope it will be OK. I'll be more relaxed when I've seen it roll because it is a lot wider than the others at 2.4 metres. On the other hand, since it is mainly roof and not sides, it is a much shallower structure. At least the rails are horizontal, parallel and clear the blockwork, which is a start...

This is on the site of a previous shed which has moved to one of the other sites on an improved base. An old temporary roll-off has gone. I may renovate/improve it or just convert it into a woodshed or something!
