First reasonable image of Venus

This from a couple of nights ago using an IR Filter and 3x Barlow on my Europa 250mm reflector.

Trouble is, Venus rises over the town from my point of view, so getting a good image is a bit of a challenge. Can't afford one of those filters to get cloud detail, but this came out better than I expected.

I have to say that is the besst of Venus I have seen in a long time Geoff. You do need filter aids to try and wrest cloud detail, but for a no frills shot, that is A1 Well done indeed sir.
