I'd sign up on a dedicated photography forum, you will get loads of advice from people who are as deep into their photography as folks here are deep into space. :D

Google will normally throw up a few good ones. I frequent Talk Photography. Just like here, there is a place to buy and sell goods. After a short waiting period, you'll be able to bag yourself a bargain.

the 10D is the more professional version of what iv got the 300d

sadly you cant use the modern EFS lens but the older EF and if u get an adapter m42 type lens (which is what i use)

you will have to focus manually though (on m on the dial) and change iso to 800

i use m42 pantex lens with a m42 - ef lens adapter. it works fairly well but u need to make sure u can get infinity focus (the lens usally has a ∞ mark on it)

it will fit on the camera though as iv got the 300d, an identical camera but at the time was cheaper an few less fetures were locked
