Couple of shots of the Moon from last night. Had to move the scope around a bit as it was hiding behind my neighbours garage.

Caught these just before the clouds started to show. Clouds rolling across the Moon look very pretty on the laptop screen, but wasn't what I wanted.

What do you mean Geoff, "It wasn't what I wanted". The look perfectly OK to me, they look well focussed and very sharp and contrasty.

Just expressing myself badly as usual. What I meant was that I had spent ages as you do setting up in a clear sky only to see clouds appearing as I was about to image.

Therefore I am quite pleased that I got the pictures done in time. Plenty of occasions when that hasn't been the case in the past.
