Good luck with that one. I did a similar thing with a 8" by 6" shed a couple of years ago. Initially tried to have a role off roof both sides of the apex but was too heavy and difficult to manage with the chipboard and felt construction. In the end I used the corrigated bitumin board to make a new roof and just used to lift off whichever side I wanted!

I'm currently converting part of the garage as a control room while the new scope sits outside. Got to think of the operator first!!!
