LX200 12"

I know this may seem a weird request, but has anyone get the height of a LX200 12" scope from the base to the top of the ota ( with the ota level). I have been offered one, but not sure if i have got enough roof clearance in my observatory.

Nah, not that one - I do get quite a bit of stuff from ebay - but that guy is a zero feedback guy - so as far as i`m concerned - Stay away!!

Well, i done the deed. I will soon be the owner of a 12" LX200 classic - and will soon be selling a 8" LX200 classic. Guy who built observatory said that there will be no problem with height.

Was it genuine? If so what a bargain.

I looked at it and asked him," if he bought it through ebay, how come he still had no feedback?"

Didn't get a reply, looked dodgy to me.

So I've settled on a real 10" LX200 that I'm collecting on Saturday.
