What am I doing wrong?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I'm new in astrophotography.

i have skywatcher 102 mak and webcam logitech quickcam pro 4000 and i have problem.

When I look at Jupiter through the camera I only see a bright white circle without Jupiter's true colors, looked at the picture I attached

What did I do wrong?

Maybe it's something camera settings, but what exactly does it take to change the settings to see Jupiter in its true colors in real time?

I use Logitech's original software, Maybe I need another program to solve the problem?

By the way.

the moon I see a great real-time Through camera.

Thanks for helpers:) picture19gt.jpg

Kh3ldar is right, start with exposure. Make sure the auto exposure button is not clicked, you will be able to focus better after getting some detail. Then adjust gain and play around with the other settings once you get a hang of it.
