question about celestron vibration pads

hi,

just got them today, but, do I put the tripod into them with the original tripod end piece left on, or do I remove the end pieces?

if you get what I mean, camera battery flat so cant show an image

some of you guys bound to have them

Leave the tips of the tripod on and stand the tripod on the anti vibration pads.

+1 for leaving the tripod leg ends "as is". All the folks I've seen using them don't modify the tripod at all - and they do work I understand - particularly for imaging
