Catch! (NGC891)

The title alludes to the fact that whenever I see an image of NGC891, it looks like a frisbee headed my way.

This is only my second attempt at an RGB image (the first was of M101 a few weeks ago, that Olly kindly encorporated into his own image to demonstrate the appearance of the supernova):

I really struggle with RGB filter images from my location, which is a shame as I'd love to collect galaxies (it appears to my megalomania). The stars always look a little bloaty, and the images seem to lack the overall definition of some of my narrowband images. Would it help to merge some HA into the red channel on these types of shots? I can't decide since I know most subjects like this aren't very responsive in NB. But maybe that would help keep the star sizes down?
