My first DSO -- don't get excited it's not great

OK so I know the composition of the image is awful and I know I have burnt the hell out of the core in post processing (that will teach me not to mask it off).

However the feeling of satisfaction from actually having caught a DSO with a little detail is immense, it is something I have wanted to do for a long time and has spurred me on to improve.

Congratulations on your first image! Looks pretty good to me. As you say the processing is a little off but I don't think it matters at all. You have nice round stars and lovely detail.
