First Jupiter this time round

Believe it or not, I saw Jupiter for the first time this season last night!

A combination of arthritis and clouds has kept me indoors but I roused myself to get these images between the clouds.

Used my Europa 250mm Newtonian and a 2 x Barlow with a Philips SPC900NC webcam and Baader IR filter. Tried greater magnification but the seeing wouldn't stand it and these were about the best.

More to come we hope as I've got a bit of catching up to do.
