Moon - 14th September

Despite being a committed visual observer, couldn't resist having a snap at the moon tonight. Using the WO66, 1000D, without, then with x2 PowerMate. Focusing v tricky because I couldn't see it in Liveview at the correct shutter speed so had to put to a slower speed to focus then adjust back to the faster shutter speed which probably affected the focus. Anyway around this?

The full size files don't look too bad, not sure how to link to them though, can anyone let me know?

cheers

Looking at some of the other pictures on here, it looks like mine are still a little overexposed. Pretty fine balance, guess it's a matter of trial and error?

Am quite liking lunar imaging for the instant nature of single shot dslr photography. Can't be doing with any post processing :-)
