Excellent results! That's what white light imaging is all about.

Well done...

The Herschel wedge is very good, but given the same seeing conditions I'd expect similar results from the Baader solar film.

It would be interesting to do a back to back, same telescope same location comparison.

To be honest seeing was not so good at all. The afternoon I took the images it was very cloudy here, and I had to take the image through a layer of haze in the air. The 'secret' is partly in the processing I guess. I use the astra image deconvolution plugin for photoshop which is much better than wavelets in my opinion for lunar and solar images. Here is an image showing a raw single frame, the raw stack, a wavelet processed image and the result with deconvolution. I would say, draw your own conclusions :)
