I managed to get out and try a Lunar mosaic last night - first Moon pics in months

Anyway this was a chance to get "first light" with the ED80PRO (and 2x Barlow/SPC900 webcam) as a moon scope (not ideal but worth a try). Also to test out the new electronic focusser - worked a treat!

There are two images as Bizibilder is a fully paid up member of the "missed a bit" club!!

The whole Moon was done in 30 panes but two of them suffered drift which left a couple of gaps ("Oh Bother!" said Bizibilder!) also I had a huge amount of trouble with Registax6 putting crazy paving on the flat grey areas - no contrast, it don't work

lovely images, you could have done shot them for a mosaic and had a really huge moon............the focuser seems to work very well

Great images, lot's of detail there, the focus seams to be perfect.
