Hi All,:)

Need some advice on which eyepiece to get for my 200P.

Looking at getting a Skywatcher 2" PanaView but which one??:(

32mm or 38mm??

Any advice on which one is the best for overall viewing with my scope?

Thanks in advance,

Wayne

You scope is F5, so the 32mm gives a 6.4mm exit pupil and the 38mm gives a 7.6mm exit pupil. The latter exit pupil is larger than most peoples pupil size so you will probably lose a bit of light if you opt for the 38mm. As a finder EP however, the 38mm would show you much more sky.

I have a 32mm Panaview I am selling Wayne, if you are interested. I am selling because it is to 'long' for use in my F4 Newt, I can see the secondary's shadow.

I have read I need something around 20mm or shorter.

PM me if interested mate.

Gary
