Which Reducer

Hi

So I use th ekit in my signature but M31 is just so big it wont fit, I belive thsi can be solved by using a focal recucer but which one ?

Explorer 250 and DSLR? You can't really reduce the 250, so far as I know, and it is already pretty fast, so you need to think otherwise. Go for a mosaic. They are on the challenging side but getting easier as the software evolves and nothing, but nothing, in imaging compares with a mosaic for personal satisfaction when, at last, it works!!

have you considered a standard camera lens for that target?

A 100mm or 135mm lens on the 450D, piggy backed would give you promising results.
