Looking for some bins

Hi guys I'm looking for some binoculars to help me look around the sky's to help me to get to know what's up there and to help me hunt around while I'm waiting for my scope to cool I don't want to spend to much on them as my main viewing will be with my scope is there anything I should be aware of or keep away from any help would be welcome

Hi there,

I'm sure the 15x70's are very nice bins as Keiran suggests, but bear in mind bins this big will be heavy and you will unlikely be able to hold them steady for very long without the aid of a tripod! I would personally go with a pair of 10x50's as these will be a general good all-rounder; you don't have to spend a fortune on bins btw, sometimes your local Aldi/Lidl sell cheap bins for £15-30 so look out for these special offers. ;-)

I recently purchased a pair of Meade 10x50's for £25 from an SGL member.
