William Optics ZS66 - any good for astrophotography?

Recommended Posts

Ian King sells the base on it's own for 30 quid, even he thinks they are well overpriced but there ain't a lot he can do about that. I then picked up an identicle finder off ebay for 15 quid delivered, just doesn't have a little swan on it as far as I can see.

Must admit to a low-tech alternative.... I attach my Rigel finder to my WO scopes with elastic bands!! given the field of view it doesn't have to be precisely set up.. (found M36 this evening that way!!)
