Astronomy in Afghanistan

I wish these brave souls who try to do science (even the amateur kind) in such an environment, the most heartfelt wishes of luck.

We are truly lucky here in our sheltered lives.

Our worst problem are clouds, or too much artificial light, or not enough money for an upgrade.

I can't imagine risking death for simply putting my eye to an eyepiece.

Good luck.

Good luck and be well, brave fellow astronomers everywhere.
