It's worth noting as well, that on many laptops you can alternatively create a graphics scheme preset (which works in exactly the same way, but may be quicker to operate in-the-field).

I bought a red roll of cellophane and cut several sheets to the size of my laptop screen and then laminated them, it works great and it's cheap. I did the same for my iPad, IPhone & back of my DSLR all for less then a fiver.
