Attaching camera to a telescope

I have an olympus e-420 that i want to try and attach to my telescope. As i understand i need 2 things. a t-ring and something else. Could anyone please help me and tell me which items i would need.

You will need a t-adapter + t-ring

On the 200P you won't need anything other than the "Olympus to T ring" adaptor. The 1.25" barrel unscrews to present a t-thread.

You may not even need the t-adapter. Most of the Skywatcher range have a t thread located on the focuser to give a direct connection.

How do i know which will fit? And if i only have to buy a t-adapter.

I am not very good with purchasing goods that im not sure will what will do the job.

Look at the focuser, and attempt to unscrew the bit the eyepieces go into. If it unscrews, you only need an Olympus to T-ring adaptor.

Try searching on youtube for "attaching an SLR to a telescope".

If your Skyliner has a dual 1.25" / 2" focuser you will only need a t-ring for your camera. Remove the 1.25" eyepiece adapter and screw the t-ring directly to it.
