Can't find my AVI's

HI all,

Took loads of shots last night, including some with SPC900 using K3, but I can't seem to find them have tried opening using Registax and also tried a search engine no luck, I know they have got to be here somewhere !!!

Any suggestions please?

Open K3CCD again and click the options tab. In "settings" you can set the capture directory. Without changing it you should see where it points, that's where they should be.

Tried that over the phone with Rog, no luck they have to be here somewhere I hope.

Got to "Start" then "Search" then "Files or folders" on your computer

type in *.avi and let the computer search for them

Nope still can't locate, beginning to think I must have done something wrong, but followed same proceedure as last time.

Yep still no luck.

If you have done *.avi and no files are showing then I dont think they are there It happened once to me when I was taking my first saturn avi's, clicked away merrily for a few hours, came in to process.....nothing. Still dont know how it happened !!!!

Try searching for "CCD", its the default title K3CCD uses to save files.

Just out of curiosity Trudie.

Did you set the capture file before taking the AVI or save it once you had taken it????
